In short
This site uses no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. There is no Google Analytics, no Facebook pixel, and no third-party code following you from page to page or from site to site. The only thing served from somebody else's machine is the cover image of each video, which comes from YouTube; it stores nothing in your browser, and the video itself loads only once you press play.
What we store is strictly what you asked for: the language you chose, light or dark theme, the fact that you dismissed a promotion, and — if you are one of us — the admin session. That is the whole list.
Exactly what is stored
NEXT_LOCALE (cookie) — the language you are reading the site in. It is written only when you use the RO/EN switch; the site does not read your browser's language settings and starts in Romanian for everybody. It lasts for the session: your browser deletes it when you close it.
theme (local storage) — whether you prefer the light or the dark theme. Read before the first paint so the page does not flash the wrong one.
cp-visitor-name (local storage) — the name you optionally type into the greeting in the corner. It stays in your browser and is never sent anywhere on its own; the one exception is that opening the contact form fills your name in for you, so it reaches us only if you send that form yourself. It disappears when you clear site data.
cp-promo-… (session storage) — that you closed a promotion, so it does not reopen on every page. Cleared when you close the tab.
cp_admin (cookie) — the admin session. Created only after a successful login to the panel, HttpOnly and cryptographically signed. An ordinary visitor never receives it.
Why there is no cookie banner
Because, for now, it would have nothing to ask about. The ePrivacy Directive and Romanian Law 506/2004 require consent for storage that is not necessary to make the site work: analytics, advertising, cross-site tracking. A language choice, a theme preference, a dismissed promotion and a login session are not in that group — without them, things you started yourself break.
A banner asking permission for something that needs no permission is not compliance, it is noise. When the tools in the next section go live the banner appears, and only then will it have something to ask.
What we plan to add
We want to understand how the site is used and to promote our services, and for that we intend to use Google Analytics, Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and TikTok. As of the date on this page, none of them runs on creativepoint.ro.
When they do, they will bring analytics and marketing cookies, and the rule is the same for all of them: nothing loads before you accept, refusing is as easy as accepting, and you can change your mind at any time. That order is not a courtesy, it is the legal requirement.
We update this page first, then ship the banner, then switch the tools on. If you read about a tool here and no banner ever appeared, it is not running yet — and that is a check you can make yourself.
How to clear them
From your browser's site-data settings, where you can delete cookies and local storage for creativepoint.ro. You do not need us to do it and it affects nothing else — on your next visit the site simply starts on the default language and theme.
The name in the greeting goes with it, because it only ever lived in your browser.
